We encourage companies to post job listings to find the perfect candidate for any position requiring employment.

When you submit your listing to us please be as detailed as possible.

Information To Include

Please be as detailed as possible, useful information to include:

  • Background information about your company – tell prospective employees what your company does, who runs it and why they should work for you.
  • Details of roles and responsibilities – don’t be vague. Explain fully what you expect prospective employees to do whilst working for you. Be as descriptive as you can to give them a taste of what to expect.
  • Talk about the benefits – explain the benefits of working for your company. Also include a link to your company website.

Information not to include

Contact details, such as your email address or phone number – this may sound strange but we don’t want any personal information in any listings. Prospective employees should be given enough information in the advert description so that when they reply to the listing for more information it should be the start of a constructive dialogue between you and prospective employees.

Screen Prospective Employees

Make sure you screen prospective employees. You can do this by listing the educational or technical requirements of the job and asking each candidate to send your their CV. Any prospects that fail to do this or do not meet the requirements you don’t need to reply to.

Be Honest and set Realistic Expectations

Make sure any mention of salary and working hours is included in the listing. Make it clear and easy to understand. Don’t try to scam prospects by listing commission based jobs as permanently salaried roles and so on.

Make sure also that you state in your job listing how long it will take to review the details of each application and that, depending on the HR rules of your company, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Don’t keep candidates waiting for a reply if you have no intention to contact them.
